Donation Center Drop-Off

All 31 Southeast Michigan Salvation Army Donation Centers are accepting drop-off donations Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Please remain in your vehicle. Due to high donation volume, please be prepared to wait in line.

Pick-up Scheduling

COVID-19 UPDATE: We are NOT doing donation pick-ups or scheduling for the future at this time. Please call the 313 number below to check for updates.

Due to our large service area including Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties, please be prepared to schedule your donation pickup at least 2 weeks in advance. We service each city in those counties on a predetermined day of the week.

Our window for pickup is between 8am-7pm Monday thru Saturday, unfortunately we cannot honor time requests. The minimum donation size to qualify is one large piece of furniture or 10 large 33 gallon trash bags of clothing.

Please contact our Communications Department @ 313-965-7760 or schedule online.

Restriction

If someone is home -
If you require us to enter your home, we'd prefer all items be on the ground floor. We may not go up or down the stairs in the home. We can go into your garage. We cannot guarantee a "walk out" basement will be suitable to move your donation items.

If no one is home -
Please place all items outside on the front porch, front of driveway or near the curb under a tarp with a sign for The Salvation Army.  We are unable to enter any doors, gates or go in the back yard unless someone is home. If you will not be home, but will have someone else in your place, please provide a letter to our driver stating that the person in the home has the authority to offer your donation for you. If not, we will not be able to pick up the items.
